The 2021 Pride in Print Awards was a great success! We won a total of 13 Golds – a new record for our team.

As well as the labels listed below, we also won gold in all 3 Company Awards. The Company Awards are new additions to the 2021 Awards programme, introduced to promote the wider development of the print industry and highlight the businesses that are driving the future of the industry.

The Company Awards honour companies that have demonstrated excellence and commitment to best practice in the following categories – Wellness, Sustainability and Innovation. Kiwi Labels won gold for each of these categories!

The Wellness Award gives recognition to companies that have developed, implemented and championed outstanding approaches in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of their workers. 

At Kiwi Labels we provide a workplace that is inclusive to all, supports our staff and provides them with a safe work environment – practically safe in their day to day roles but also an environment where they feel confident to share, speak up and know their ideas or concerns will be heard and addressed. We are proud members of the Living Wage Movement in NZ, the only label company in NZ to commit to supporting our staff, their families and communities via this program.

The Sustainability Award is for the business that demonstrates steps taken to embed sustainable practices in their organisation.
We are 100% committed to the environment and sustainable future, embracing a future for everyone by minimising our impact on the environment for the benefit of current and future generations. This is visible in our day to day practices as well as our KiwiCycle brand that offers a range of award winning sustainable label solutions, and we have committed to divert 500 tonnes of glassine liner by 2025 to be recycled through our Glassine Liner Recycling Program rather than ending up in landfill.

The Innovation Award is awarded to businesses that use original thinking in the search of excellence and continual improvement – an essential part of the growth and development of any company.
